Mold Making
Ceramic mold is an indispensable means of production in ceramic production, and the production of ceramic mold is an important part of ceramics. Most of the various ceramic utensils used in modern life are mass-produced by gypsum molds, so the quality of gypsum molds will have a direct impact on the quality of ceramic products.
The methods of separating the bear mould are knocking, hot water, air blowing and so on.
Mold Making
mud making
Clay clay, that is, clay, refers to the clay containing iron and with yellow brown, gray white, red purple and other tones, with good plasticity. Mineral clay, mainly composed of montmorillonite and kaolin. Clay is mainly used for firing external walls, floor tiles, pottery utensils and so on. Utensils made of clay are called earthenware, while those made of China clay are called porcelain. Ceramics are the general name of earthenware, stoneware and porcelain. All the clay with different properties of clay clay and China clay as raw materials, through the batching, molding, drying, roasting and other processes made of utensils can be called ceramics.
mud making
Ceramic tableware, from the coarsest clay ware to the most fine fine pottery and porcelain are within its scope. Its main raw materials are silicate minerals taken from nature (such as clay, feldspar, quartz, etc.), so it belongs to the category of “silicate industry” with glass, cement, enamel, refractory materials and other industries.
Molding
One of the ceramic manufacturing processes. The ingredients are made into green billets of specified size and shape and with certain mechanical strength. There are dry pressing, semi-dry pressing, plastic molding, grouting molding, isostatic pressing, etc. Isostatic pressing is a new ceramic production process. The ceramic workpiece produced by this method has high strength, uniform density and good machinability after sintering. The ancient pottery has mould, mud strip, and kneading method

Casting handle
Process: grouting, molding, repair handle
Casting handle
connector handle
Process: The handle is connected to the cup body with sticky mud.
Pay attention to the handle installation position, firm and do not have skew.

Round the rim
1. Place the cup on a rotating work surface and round the rim with sandpaper.
2. Place the cup on a rotating sponge wheel and round the rim
Round the rim
washing: Smooth surface
Apply inner glaze
Glaze blending → inner glaze coating (stir once every 10 minutes)
Apply inner glaze
round mouth glaze
Process: It is suitable for fully surrounded flower paper, so that the mouth of the cup does not leak white.
Glaze the handle
Process: When the glaze color of the handle is inconsistent with the color of the outer wall of the cup, it is necessary to glaze separately, and water blocking agent should be added in the glaze.
for exterior glaze
Glaze blending → outer glaze → Bottom outer circle glaze
Dust cleaning check
Clean the dust on the surface of the cup with a brush and pick out the defective products in the previous process
porcelain
Process: Dust cleaning 1200℃ for 6 hours of firing
porcelain
porcelain inspection
The fired cups are sorted by quality grade.
* Qualified products flow into the next process
* Select porcelain for small pores. * Scrap of damage
* Other classification by grade, defective processing
* Quality critical control points.
porcelain inspection
porcelain mending
Clean and fill porcelain and check porcelain
applique
The paper should be burned before the decal, and the color will change after burning.
* The position of the flower paper paste should meet the standard, and there should be no skew.
* The paper should be completely fitted with the cup, and there should be no bubbles or folds.
*QC: Burst, position, color difference.

flower baking
Floral paper is divided into high temperature floral paper (800℃), medium temperature floral paper (500℃) and low temperature floral paper (150-180℃).
